  • Provide the app’s features, including your fitness tracking and content.
  • Process subscriptions and confirm your access to paid features.
  • Send service messages, such as receipts, security alerts and policy updates.
  • Respond to support requests.
  • Keep the app secure, detect fraud and fix bugs.

We never sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the app, and only as much as they need to do their job:

  • Payment providers that process your purchases (see below).
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers that store our data securely.
  • Email and notification services that deliver messages to you.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users and the app.

Payments and subscriptions

Purchases made on iOS are handled by Apple through the App Store. Apple processes your payment and we do not receive your card number or billing details. We receive only the information needed to confirm your subscription, such as its status and a transaction identifier.

Where we offer payment by other methods, our payment provider processes your card details. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

You can manage or cancel an Apple subscription at any time in your device’s Settings under your Apple ID, then Subscriptions.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we must keep certain records for legal, tax or fraud-prevention reasons.

Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit, access controls and regular security reviews. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep your information safe.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct information that is inaccurate.
  • Delete your information.
  • Object to or restrict certain uses of your information.
  • Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent where we rely on it.

You can change many of these settings in the app. For anything else, email us at the address in the Contact us section and we will reply within one month.

You can also turn off photo access or notifications at any time in your device’s Settings.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from within the app, or by emailing us from the address linked to your account. Deleting your account removes your profile, fitness data, photos and videos, subject to the retention exceptions above. Deleting the app from your device does not cancel a subscription, so cancel it first in your Apple ID settings.

Children

YOU1st is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

International transfers

Our service providers may process your information in countries other than your own. Where we transfer data, we use appropriate safeguards so it stays protected to the standard required by law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you in the app or by email and update the date at the top of this page.
